10.13Building of Raised Beds and Garden Work Day This Weekend, Oct. 15 & 16th
Building Raised Beds
Saturday, October 15th
Please come join your fellow garden members this Saturday, October 15 at 10am to help complete the Raised Beds for our garden plots. This project will help us regularize the size of the beds, fight erosion and path encroachment, and make it easier for gardeners to add fresh compost. This is the latest “garden infrastructure” project — a great way to contribute to a lasting garden improvement.
The coordinators will bring the tools and the supplies, you should bring yourself and are welcome to bring tools, especially electric screwdrivers (pre-charged), hand saws, and tape measures.
If you have yet to fulfill your garden hours or your additional plot hours (required of all plot holders to get a plot again next year) this will be an excellent opportunity to get that done!
If your plot is not raised, please expect it to be raised this weekend and prepare accordingly.

11AM - Gardening begins!
We’ll continue with any final touches on the Raised Beds along with general gardening. A good time to be had by all!
